is housed in the old Community building. The opening of the new museum took place on 17th October 2010 with the presentation of Mr. Christodoulos Halaris collection.
The musical tradition of each site provides information on culture and the evolution in time, so the visitor can admire musical instruments from 2.800 BC to the early 20th century. Important was the contribution of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the reconstruction of all musical instruments.
The placement was done in chronological order and then divided into the following sections: Epigonion, Formiges, Pythagorian Canon, Psalters, Woodwing, Percussion and Panduris.
